A trip to the store....

I stopped into a grocery store to pick up some ice cream and fried chicken (I know real healthy), and while I was waiting for the chicken the guy behind the counter asked where I was from. My thought was like what the hell. Anyways I tell him I am from Billings and all he says is hmmm. No big deal but a little different. So as he hands me my chicken he asked where I got my jacket from. I told him Scheels. It's a North Face jacket. He tells me that Jim Whittaker is the CEO of the company. I thought cool but there a lot of CEO's out there. He then proceeds to tell me that he is the first American to climb Mount Everest. I thanked him. I left that grocery store knowing more than when I came in.

These little happenings make a day great. When you least expect a drop of knowledge. It's great.

By the way. The fried chicken was very good. And the ice cream was sooo good. And I'm not even sorry.

Target

So yesterday we went to Target to get a few things. Stuff for the baby on the way, some valentines for Aspens school, some stuff for mama. Aspen and I were having a great, immature time in Target. Blaming each other for farting. It was great. Giving Aspen a tickle torcher in the middle of the store. Fun stuff. So we head to the check out counter and I'm bagging our stuff. Aspen thinks this is a great time to get daddy back. She comes up behind me and pulls my sweatpants down. The people behind us got a great look at my new boxers. Aspen couldn't stop laughing and neither could I. She got me. She got me good. But I will wait. Wait til she leasts expect it. A time like when she graduates high school, or brings home a boy for the first time. I will get my revenge. But in the mean time we will just keep laughing and the genius of my daughter depantsing me at Target.
